This Ramadan, vulnerable communities around the globe are in need of nutritious food more than ever before. In these unprecedented times, the spread of Coronavirus has made access to good, nutritious food even more difficult, but more important for those in need.
This Ramadan, give in the name of Allah so nobody goes hungry. Your donation will provide vital food packs and help combat hunger across the globe. Hundreds of thousands of Rohingya refugees have taken up residence at Cox’s Bazar, a refugee camp along the southeast coast of Bangladesh.
With so many people in need of help, resource in the cox's bazar refugee camp are severly limited.
SKT Welfare's Rohingya Appeal
In Myanmar, whole villages were burned to the ground, men were brutalised, women were attacked and raped, and a whole host of atrocities were committed against the Rohingya people.
Families fled to Bangladesh as quickly as they could, with no more than the clothes on their backs and the hope for a better future. In Cox’s Bazar living conditions are overcrowded and Rohingya refugees are completely dependent upon aid to survive.
A donation of just £50, you can provide a family with a nutritious food parcel that will ease their suffering.
Our team in Cox’s Bazar are working tirelessly to eliminate hunger throughout the community by delivering food parcels to vulnerable families in need. Each food parcel is made up of nutritious essentials that will keep a family of five fed for an entire month. Our parcels contain healthy foods such as rice, potatoes, onions, vermicelli, lentils, sugar, salt and oil.
20% of Rohingya children under the age of 5 are sadly malnourished, while 12% of these children are faced with serious, long-term effects to their growth because of hunger. You can help Rohingya children and their families fight the effects of malnutrition by donating a food parcel today through our Rohingya appeal.
This Ramadan a donation of £50 could make all the difference to a struggling Rohingya family. Help us deliver vital food parcels to the Rohingya Refugees today!
