Our Water appeal is a Palestine charity that provides fresh, clean water to people throughout Gaza. With rampant water shortages and accessible water from Gaza’s aquifer being thoroughly contaminated with waste, seawater and chemicals, there is widespread illness and poor health throughout the city.

Many suffer from waterborne diseases such as diarrhoea, typhoid and gastroenteritis because they have no choice but to drink the contaminated water. Over 12% of child deaths in Gaza can be attributed to this diseased water.

Clean Water for Gaza

Thanks to all your generous donations, we have been able to set up two water purification plants in Gaza. Each of our water purification plants produce 50,000 litres of fresh water daily. This provides over half a million impoverished Palestinians in Gaza with safe drinking water, inshallah.

People who previously had to travel several miles to collect water or take their chances on water from the aquifer can now drink in peace, knowing they now have a reliable source of clean water for their families.
