Disaster can strike anytime, anywhere.
It can cost lives and endanger futures. It can happen to anyone; natural disasters affect around 160 million people worldwide, and around 2 billion people live in fragile and conflict-affected areas around the globe.
SKT HELPING HUMANITY
In a crisis, SKT Welfare provides fast, effective emergency humanitarian relief; food, water and healthcare to those affected by conflict, poverty and natural disasters.
We also believe that those affected by disaster should be given an extra helping hand, to help them get back on their feet and rebuild their lives. That’s why we’ve set up sustainable, long-term projects in some of the world’s poorest communities.
Our expert teams are hard at work in Yemen, which is experiencing the worst famine this century, providing life-saving food. Our amazing staff and volunteers are providing clean, safe water and nutritious food to Palestinians living in poverty. In Somalia, where 5 million children are malnourished, we are providing vital food and clean water to those in extreme need.
Refusing to ignore the struggle of refugees, we continue to provide food packs to over 5,700 Rohingya refugees to this day. We help tens of thousands of displaced and disadvantaged Syrians, with food, clean water and healthcare, every single day.
Recently, we launched our emergency appeal in Kashmir, helping those affected by conflict in Indian-administered Kashmir to survive, through essential food aid.
Our mission is to deliver efficient, compassionate and sustainable humanitarian aid to those in need, regardless of gender, race or religion. But we couldn’t do any of our vital work without the help of our big-hearted donors - people just like you!
Donate to our Emergency Fund today, and 100% of your donation will go directly to people who are suffering through no fault of their own, but because of terrible conflicts and natural disasters.
Our 100% donation policy means that every penny you donate is used for serving those in need, not administrative nor overhead costs. Read more
