Story
The majority of the refugees in Tanzania are from Burundi hosted in camps in Kigoma region. Fifty-six per cent of the refugee population are children under 18 years, and more than 7,500 are unaccompanied and separated children.
The refugee population continues to grow with up to 1,000 babies born each month across the three camps. These refugees are severely under risk of malnourishment and face a high risk of disease and death.
Our SKT volunteers are working on the ground delivering food packs to vulnerable families, which contain essentials, such as sugar, rice, flour, beans and oil.
100% of your donation buys food.
We deliver two parcels per family containing:

Sugar 2kg
Wheat 5kg
Oil 2 ltrs
