Our flagship medical appeal, The Al-Huda hospital, is the first of three healthcare initiatives we have started here at SKT Welfare. This project has been extremely successful over years, saving countless lives in Syria with its unique approach and the help of dedicated medical professionals.
Our Al-Huda hospital has been regularly funded by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) over the years, as well as by generous donors like you!
Our work here caters to the needs of 13 towns and 110 villages in Northern Syria.
The hospital treats around 350 patients daily, paying special attention to patients in need of orthopaedic treatment or neurosurgery.
We provide healthcare for an estimated population of nearly 1 MILLION people, alhamdulillah!

FASILITIES IN AL-HUDA HOSPITAL
The hospital is staffed with a dedicated team of doctors, surgeons and nurses and provides around the clock medical services. Within the Al-Huda Hospital there is an Emergency Room, ICU unit, fully equipped operating theatre, X-Ray and ultrasound room, sterilisation room, pharmacy, laboratory and wash room, as well as a clinic for minor injuries.
The hospital has a number of departments, including Neurology, Orthopaedic, In-patient, Physiotherapy, Paediatrics and Ambulance services. We are providing vital healthcare services to numerous densely populated villages and towns throughout the area, assuring they get the quality care they deserve.
