Story
Due to the ongoing blockade and relentless cycles of conflict, daily life remains extremely challenging for many Palestinians in Gaza.

With its dense population of 1.6 million people and limited access to livelihoods, 38% of Gazans live in dire poverty and over 50% are food insecure. There is also a critical water shortage with 90% of the water from Gaza’s aquifer being undrinkable, which is causing widespread illness and poor health.

Since the 2014 conflict in Gaza, SKT Welfare volunteers have hand-delivered thousands of parcels in the Palestinian town of Khuza’a, which was hard-hit by the conflict and where there is a population of 10,000 people. 23,750 direct beneficiaries of the SKT Welfare food programme. Providing families with cooking essentials like rice, oil, sugar, salt, tea, spaghetti, chick peas, lentils, and beans.
